Taylor Swift is said to have lost 2 million listeners on Spotify by supporting Kamala Harris

Taylor Swift reportedly experienced a decline in monthly listeners on Spotify and YouTube since her Instagram announcement, where she encouraged her fans to get informed ahead of the presidential elections, according to TheWrap.

Let’s recall that in her September 10th Instagram post, the singer mentioned having done her own research and that her values aligned more with those of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, which angered Donald Trump and some of his supporters.

Several members of the Trump camp argued that she would suffer significant losses due to her support for the Democratic candidate. According to The Wrap, the star reportedly “lost” two million monthly listeners on Spotify in September and 10% of her audience on YouTube.

However, it is difficult to determine whether these numbers are directly related to her support for Kamala Harris or if it’s simply a normal fluctuation. On Spotify, Taylor Swift attracts more than 91 million monthly listeners, while on YouTube, this number exceeds 92 million.

The star is undoubtedly very successful, and her popularity seems unwavering, regardless of Donald Trump’s opinion.
